Dear Friends: Greetings in Jesus’ mighty Name! Wow—Did 2006 just zoom by or what?? I was just looking at some of the pictures from 2006 and thought I would share a few with you. We accomplished a lot in 2006 but we need to do so much more. I hope 2007 is a great year for the Lord. Will you join me in praying for the end of abortion around the globe? In India, David Lackey and I ministered from dawn to dark, often speaking three or four times a day to groups in different villages. We bumped across roads that looked like rutted paths and waded through streams to speak to house churches all over the area.
In South Africa we worked with Doctors for life. They are doing an awesome work among the Zulu nation. They are involved in caring for AIDS orphans, bringing medicine and care to AIDS victims in far away villages, and most importantly, bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the culture of life to people in villages in the African bush. They truly have ministered to the “least of these.” We are so honored to work with them. As usual, they really used our team, Pat, Luther Laite, IV and David Lackey from before dawn to after dark. We spoke at conferences, churches, teacher’s colleges, medical colleges, and remote villages. I met with some Eleventh Hour counselors (they do not have “sidewalks”) that I trained in 2001. The group has grown to over 50 and they have closed down four abortion clinics in Durban. Wow—just look what the Lord has done!
In retrospect, we were very busy in 2006. It seemed as if we were all over the U.S. and all over the globe. If we accomplished anything it was because of God’s grace. Has anyone ever challenged you about your pro-life efforts or asked you “What did you accomplish?” Have you ever wondered-What can a rag-tag group of pro-life Christians accomplish in this huge battle? Remember the answer-Nothing alone and everything with the Lord. We can will this. We will win this-in His strength and in His timing. All we have to do is show up. We intend to show up a lot in 2007.
