Abortion Is The Root Of All Violence! Dear Friend:
We live in a great land that is being polluted by the blood of innocent victims. Teenagers are being murdered for their jackets and tennis shoes or for no reason at all. Teen suicide, a term that did not exist twenty five years ago, is now a leading cause of teen death. This precious generation is destroying itself with drug abuse and sexually transmitted disease because life has been cheapened. Fine parents, sincere schools and misguided government programs have not stemmed the tide of destruction of expendable human life. We’ve lost the ability to feel genuine sympathy yet rally to support “pop” causes, being more willing to save the earth than the people on it. The value of human beings and family is being eroded away. The blood of 40 million little boys and girls has stained the ground of our conscience. When will we dare to say we’ve been wrong, terribly wrong? God please forgive us! We’ve been wrong because we allowed the strong to rule over the weakest members of our society – our pre-born children. When will we dare to say that personal choice stops at the taking of another human life. When will we stop our materialistic infatuation and put life above convenience and career? Will caring and sympathy be just and “event” or will we humble ourselves and ask a Holy God to make it a “lifestyle?” We’ve shown by example for almost three decades that innocent life has no means to defend itself and is of no consequence. Yes, there is a cost of repentance – a cost that can only be measured against the value we collectively put on life. Have we the constitution to go to the root of violence to reject denial and accept the logical ramifications of a society that condones the killing of it’s tiniest members? We cannot build a dike to insulate against the effect this mass shedding of innocent blood has had on our youth. Let us dare to be thinking caring individuals who defend life. We do so because we value what’s right and wrong as opposed to what’s popular and faddish. I invite you to join others now to make a commitment to let God touch our hearts and allow our national soul to be revived that we will never again take the life of one boy, girl, old man or old woman.

LCI's position on violence Life Coalition International makes the following statement concerning violence on the occasion of the bombing of an abortion clinic in Birmingham Alabama: LCI abhors violence against all innocent human beings, born and unborn. The command of our Lord Jesus Christ to love our neighbor as ourselves is what calls us to be at the abortion clinics to nonviolently pray, protest, and offer help to the mothers who are having their children killed. We come to stand nonviolently against the ultimate violence of abortion that rips apart tiny, innocent human beings within the abortion clinic walls. Again, we are against all violence to both our born and unborn innocent neighbors. |

On Funding for the UNFPA
U.S. President Bush has done the right thing by suspending funds to the UNFPA. The UNFPA promotes abortion, supports China’s coercive family planning policy and has been implicated in many cases of coercive population control in third world countries. We are confident President Bush will continue to do the right thing by removing all US funding from this organization. |
